The Mission Church Fantasy

Back in 2018/19 season, Jamie Skinner created a league called The Mission Church FF (Fantasy Football) League. This involved people coming and participating by using their phones or laptop/computers.
It is a great way to get both Christians and non-Christians to connect together. The league still continues to this day and there has been very intense times but all fun too. We are just finishing the 2024/25 season!! Below is a video ready for next season! |

Here are two videos above showing Jamie giving out the awards to Paul Taylor whom came last in the FPL league and gave an award to Caleb Skinner who won the under 18's trophy 2022. Also, the image on the far right was our winner in the 2021-22 season named Michael Keeley, Well Done!!! Also, for the 2022/23 season, young Caleb Skinner won the league.

Swansea City AFC Season
Here are some photos of some of the people from the church who has a season ticket for the Swans. Ian, Jamie, Caleb and Jamie have tickets for the season, sometimes they would share their tickets with other people who would love to watch the Swans win!!

World Cup 2022
Jamie organised a 'Name Sweep' for the World Cup. This involves finding 32 people to participate as there are 32 teams. We have managed to get 32 people to have a name each, we did a LIVE name pull on whom everyone will get.
This is a great opportunity to use the World Cup to connect with one another as Christians and Non-Christians. Jamie created a WhatsApp group to help bring together the peoples, and also to keep everyone up to date.
As part of the New Sweep, Jamie has asked each person to pay £4 to enter. The reason for this is that, as a Church we support a Children's home in Nepal, Kathmandu. To find out more, go to the Nepal page. To fund one child it costs £130 a month!! So, what is 4 x 32? Which is £128. Everyone in the group have been very generous in their giving and we were able to raise up to £158.20! Isn't God AMAZING!
The winner of the Name Sweep will get a replica World Cup trophy and a Toblerone. The idea is to keep the trophy until the next World Cup and hand in back in. Elder Ian Fearn has managed to get Argentina as his team and have been blessed to win the trophy.
